Short summer blog on CHANGE..

During the school year, I had a very liberal history teacher. He took time to make republicans seem extremely conservative with no use for any change at all. He often reffered to catholics and christians as examples to back up his claims. I watched from the back (where he placed me as I started remarking on his opinions, lol) as students and friends nodded in agreement with his strange words. After that, I like the title of ‘anti-christian’ over christian.

But I was left wondering why I was the only one seeing this as strange?

I have never had a good grasp on what a liberal or democrat is and what a republican is, only to a certain extent. This is probably because I never really cared. From my understanding, people see that republicans hate change. But to what extent?

If I had to pick one of the two, I would of course be republican. I support more things they are into than the flimsy liberals… thats how I would describe them: flimsy (this is from my little understanding.) If I am a republican, must I be sooo conservative? Do I have to hate change? (according to the world.)

Hello world. I am a republican who is an anti-christian and likes change.

Does that sound weird? …is it weird?

From my perspective, I am a big fan of change. It’s just not the same change the liberals and I are thinking of. I am thinking of the change I am seeing today: for the Lord’s work.

What do you think of that Mr. P*****? Read the Bible, Christians are the change.

So many people in the last couple months have complimented me on the change they have seen in me. I couldn’t be more on fire now because of that.

And the revolutionary movement going on in north east ohio, it’s such a change in the right direction.

Just to make it clear: I understand that there are liberal churches and people doin some kind of funky change. We are different.

And I just wish I could tell everyone just how different we are because of God….

And Lord, that is just what I think I might do.

  1. It is very frustrating to see Republicans, Christians, or anyone not extremely and flimsily liberal cariacatured as medieval, prudish, and ignorant. I’m glad that you’re declaring yourself to be a radical, revolutionary Republican who wants to see change through the love of Christ!
